Veterinary Pathology Services, LLC provides and operates a full-service veterinary diagnostic laboratory with emphasis in diagnostic Histopathology and Cytopathology. Our full-service tissue processing lab includes tissue grossing, tissue processing, embedding, and microscopy with complete automated H&E staining to provide the best quality samples for tissue diagnostics. We provide pertinent diagnostic results that include borders, prognosis and tumor staging.

Dr. Richard Hoffman is certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, becoming one of the first 30 pathologists to obtain a dual-certification in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Hoffman has extensive post-certification training and experience involving multiple animal species and anatomic systems, completing his M.S. in Comparative Animal Pathology at UC Davis in 1990. The dual Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Board certifications enable Dr. Hoffman to efficiently and accurately diagnose the most challenging Histopathologic, Cytopathologic, Hematologic and clinical chemistry cases.
